Job Description

Digital Channels is the face of the Wholesale Payments business at J.P. Morgan with clients leveraging various electronic banking and connectivity solutions to consume our services. Reporting into the Regional Digital Channels team for APAC, the role of the regional Product Manager will be to assist in defining, and executing against, the strategic roadmap for online, mobile, host-to-host and API/Open Banking products, and fully commercialising these solutions for APAC clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with stakeholders, Sales, Service, Technology and Operations evaluate and analyse cross-impacts to Digital Channel services from environment, new business demands and back-office system changes/enhancements
  • Prioritisation and project management, competitive gap analysis, market readiness, training and client communication
  • Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, KYC, and Finance as needed while supporting all compliance and risk initiatives
  • Product manager for JP Morgan Access - defining requirements and delivering annual APAC client asks - release planning, developing release notes and client readiness communication.
  • Regional product manager for JP Morgan Access Mobile, Virtual Assistant, Payment Tracker - APAC roadmap delivery and commercialisation
  • Regional lead on channels pricing and billing - track budget, fee waivers and meet/exceed annual revenue target

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Masters degree or equivalent experience
  • 8-10 years in digital product management in banking or payments industry
  • Demonstrate extensive relevant banking experience in electronic channels (front-end) solutions - browser, mobile, host-to-host and API/open banking for wholesale financial services from a technology, product or a support function
  • Technical background/experience on systems and application development processes will be an advantage
  • Strong project management experience and have a proven track record in managing, and the delivery of, complex projects
  • Ability to translate product vision into phased design requirements and to execute commercialisation strategy
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills combined with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in working with technical and business people with ability to influence cross-functional areas without formal authority
  • Team player who thrives in a dynamic environment
