Job Description

Scope of Role

Reporting to the Head of Content, Asia, the Content Planning Specialist is responsible for executing the content strategy locally and source for new content and work closely with other team members to align planning, execution and analytics for content marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Content Creation Specialists, external content creators as well as other teams in SEEK (e.g., Marketing) to align planning, execution and analytics for content development and marketing
  • Lead the Content Creation Specialists in managing the sourcing and budget for content development
  • Take ownership of quality control, review the content including localization assets in detail to ensure that all output, whether by internal or external content creators, adheres to SEEK’s content technical requirements, guidelines and reflects SEEK’s brand, mission and values
  • Manage all stages of the content creation process from development, pre-production, production, internal re-mastering, manage localization assets (subtitles or dubbing) to ensure successful content production and robust editorial review.
  • Understand and champion the local industry needs, trends and innovations to best identify and formulate Careers & Connect content needs
  • Assist in program/curation planning and aligning with internal/external content creators, marketing and publishing team.
  • Implementation of workflows, prioritizing shifting content timelines and coordinating the availability of content. Ensure assets are received/delivered on time in line with programming schedule.
  • Coordinate and assign stakeholders to the workflow, track project status, giving daily reports, raising red flags for any issues or delays, acting quickly and decisively to resolve them.
  • Communicate with publishing & marketing teams on finished content assets that are ready for publishing, track and check published assets ensuring smooth playbacks and meeting set timeline.

Skills, Experience and Competencies

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:
  • An undergraduate degree or higher in Marketing, Communication, Business, Public Relations, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' working experience in content creation with proven track record of delivering results
  • Team player – works collaboratively with others in the team and across the organisation, respecting diversity and valuing differences in opinion
  • Analytical - structured thinker who places emphasis on data-driven decision-making
  • Sound judgement and decision-making ability – able to operate autonomously and provide clear, decisive guidance when consulted

  • Digital media – possesses a strong foundation and considerable experience in all stages and formats of multimedia content production
  • Fluent in English and local language (as applicable)
