Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for Engineering and maintenance of building services systems and building facilities.
  • Lead the technical team to carry out operations and maintenance of the M&E systems, furniture, fixtures, equipment and other facilities.
  • Handle emergency duties related to system breakdowns.
  • Prepare tender.
  • Supervise repair works.
  • Supervise daily operations of services provider of facility management and building maintenance.
  • Stimulate innovative idea for system enhancement and operation.
  • Assist in planning, coordination and supervision of technical aspects of facility improvement projects.
  • Ensure that all technical and project works can fulfill all relevant statutory requirements.
  • Prepare monthly / annual report and annual budget.
  • Maintain accurate store manifest of spare parts with appropriate stock level. 

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Building Services Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in building services management role.
  • Relevant experience in hostel/hotel engineering field. Well familiar with local building, fire services installation and E&M regulations.
  • Holder of Registration of Electrical worker in Grade A or above.
  • Holder of Driving Licence Class 1&2 would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of NGO, hospitality and rural area limitations would be a plus.
  • Good team player with excellent service mindset.
  • Ability to log, troubleshoot and track problems to a successful conclusion.
  • Independent with excellent problem solving ability.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Good analysing and organizing skills.
  • Familiar with computer applications, AutoCAD and Autodesk.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Priority will be given to Sham Shui Po residents
