Job Description

The Role

The Integration Engineer is a key member of our Enterprise Applications Technical team.  Integration Engineers demonstrate passion for their craft in integrating data across a heterogenous landscape of enterprise applications.  Integration Engineers participate in continuous improvement and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Aligning systems to SEEK’s overall technology strategy
  • Building solutions fit for purpose and follow current SEEK development practices
  • Contributing to platform health, ensuring that our systems are secure, reliable, resilient and cost effective
  • Focus on delivering outcomes for our customers

Technical Skills:

  • Creates and maintains continuous delivery pipelines using current practices, patterns & tooling

  • Uses data to drive decision making
  • Troubleshoots and manages production incidents

Desirable Experience, Skills and Competencies

Experience:

  • Experience working with integration of data across various system technologies such as SAP, AWS, Salesforce, Workday, Oracle, Anaplan and others
  • Experience using integration technologies such as AWS or Talend to transform and move data efficiently and securely between applications
  • Experience working with application programming interfaces to collect from or inject data into software systems
  • Previous experience with enterprise application development languages such as Java/C#
  • Proficiency using the Atlassian suite - JIRA, Confluence etc.
  • Previous experience working in geographically dispersed development teams

  • Creates software using secure coding practices and mitigates common vulnerabilities
  • Uses domain driven design and design patterns to build software products

The Team

This role sits within the Enterprise Applications Technical team which consists of a team of full-time developers and Sysops administrators, with additional contract team members secured to support initiatives as required.  You will also be working closely with the Enterprise Solution Leads and business users in an agile environment to solve problems across different parts of the business.
