Job Description

Our client, a reputable Japanese firm is now seeking a Regional Internal Auditor to join their team.  This position will be reported to the Senior Manager of the Internal Audit Section.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop thorough understanding of the group companies’ business, current accounting, compliance and operating policies
  • Assist the Manager in defining and updating the audit work program based on associated operational, financial and compliance risks
  • Analyze key risks and related internal controls during the course of audit
  • Identify audit observations or findings in a timely manner and escalate as required
  • Deliver evaluation results and deliverables under a communicated work plan
  • Respond to supervisor’s requests, completes and follow up timely
  • Execute J-SOX process level control evaluation
  • Elevate significant audit observations to the Manager on timely basis

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder in Accounting / Finance or equivalent
  • Qualified Accountant with at least 3 - 5 years’ audit or internal audit experiences gained from Big 4 or sizable corporations
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • About 20-30% travel to Asia Pacific region annually
