Job Description

The Operation Director will lead & implement the country operations strategies and key strategic projects to drive ambitious growth plans. This role reports directly to the Managing Director of Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic management functions

· Involved in setting strategic direction to establish divisional and project goals
· Provide overall strategic governance for projects to ensure effective delivery
· Stay updated on shift in market and create plans to effectively navigate those changes

Project Management

· Collaborate with other departments and relevant stakeholders to ensure each phase of a project proceed as planned
· Track project progress including all activities, outputs, and outcomes related to project management
· Lead regular project progress reviews to ensure that the deliverables are met and intervene if necessary

Team Management

· Recruit, manage, coach and motivate operations and customer support managers to navigate change
· Encourage problem-solving, strategic thinking and customer-orientation amongst the teams
· Accelerate the growth of existing product and drive new product adoption.
· Analyze, evaluate & provide solutions to capture opportunities & address complex challenges

Stakeholder Management

· Develop strong relationships and collaboration with internal and external senior stakeholders.
· Interact with senior management levels internally within SEEK and externally (client), which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters (Customer Experience/Product/Processes etc.)
· Engage firsthand with clients during complex & critical situations
· Provide project progress updates to Managing Director & Executives at regular intervals

Qualifications
Skills, Experience and Competencies

The successful candidate should have:

· Degree or Master in any discipline
· Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing business & operation team with proven track record in driving accelerated growth
· Minimum 2 years of working experience in the management consulting firm is highly desirable
· Experience in driving business transformation and change
· Enthusiastic in nature with the ability to coach & motivate a team
· Must be hands-on and operational
