The role of Product Manager, Ad Products will report to the Lead Product Manager, Ad Products Asia. Based in any of our APAC Offices (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia or Melbourne, Australia, or Hong Kong) the Product Manager (Ad Products) will provide the insight, influence and leadership to define, build and deliver products that transform our business model for ad products and support our Hirers with insights about the market and ad performance.

 As owner of a high-profile strategic product portfolio, the role has responsibility for products, services and new initiatives of high strategic importance, dedicated to solving important problems for SEEK and hirers. This role is focussed on delivering our current and future job ad products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in shaping and delivering the product roadmap and be accountable for delivering value through key business objectives and metrics.
  • Have a holistic view of your products and how they fit into the overarching experience across SEEK and work closely with other SEEK product development teams to collaborate, influence and drive a best-in-class hirer experience.
  • Actively manage and engage stakeholders across the business, inspiring others and generating momentum behind the product vision.
  • Champion the voice of the customer on both sides of the employment marketplace, focusing on solving critical customer problems of high strategic and commercial importance.
  • Empower and inspire product and engineering teams in their mission to build amazing products.
  • Raise the bar through excellent Product Discovery and drive the best solutions to the hardest problems to solve.
  • Define product performance and success metrics in alignment with stakeholders and collaborate with data analytic teams to actively monitor the products.
  • Drive tangible results by facilitating cross functional collaboration between teams and be the driving force that pulls people together to achieve the best outcomes for our customers.
  • Evangelize our products, features, and vision across the entire organization, communicating clearly and effectively with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Stay abreast of industry and competitor trends and share insights and learnings across the group.

So, what are we looking for?

  • Experience in digital product management and a passion for it
  • Previous experience of working in driving commercial model for a digital product company preferred
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems using conceptual, analytical and data driven approaches
  • Comfortable with managing extreme ambiguity in a difficult and complex stakeholder setting
  • Customer centric in your approach with a strong capacity to understand market and strategic drivers to set clear goals and define problem statements
  • Considerable experience in online or software product development, including in agile team settings
  • Ability to maintain and set a product roadmap while managing competing priorities from multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes
  • Well-developed communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade, build, and maintain relationships
  • Passionate about making a difference for Seek and our customers
