Job Description

The Role
Forming key part of the regional digital marketing team, this role is pivotal in driving performance marketing across the Asian region.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting and analyzing information on different media channels, such as CPx, rating points, and media spend elasticities.
  • Analyzing research and analytics data, think creatively and design innovative strategies to make sure SEEK’s marketing campaigns reach their target audience in the most effective way possible.
  • Create or recommend certain media strategies to attract and retain customers, increase brand recognition, and maintain and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Developing various options for media plans based on SEEK’s marketing objectives.
  • Orchestrate the budgeting and placement of ads into various media channels that maximize advertising reach and effectiveness. These channels include but are not limited to: Google Search, Display, Video, App ads, radio, and outdoor media.
  • Oversee campaign budget management, including allocation of monthly budgets, issuance/revisions of monthly insertion orders, oversight of billing and financial reconciliation on a monthly and quarterly basis, and resolution of media invoice and ad service fee discrepancies.
  • Contributes to planning and pacing across media platforms.
  • Proactively working with the advertising operations team on campaign set-up and optimization strategy.
  • Assess the impact and suitability of different media types used to target certain market segments.
  • Analyzing post-campaign results and recommending refinements. Supports performance analysis including identifying performance drivers, recommending an appropriate course of action, evaluating progress and escalating as necessary
  • Interacting with internal and external partners to evaluate, implement, and maintain a media plan.
The above key responsibilities require collaboration with the Country Digital Marketing Leads across Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. The role will report to the Regional Head of Performance Marketing and will work closely with many parts of the organisation including Product Delivery team, Marketing, and Sales and Operations.

So, what we are looking for?

This position requires consulting, marketing, and analytical skills, as well as a proven track record working within a team environment and across multiple departments and disciplines to actively manage the planning and buying of digital media campaigns through all steps of the planning process.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years' of experience working in media strategy, media planning, and media technology platforms
  • A proven track record in developing strategic plans that deliver tangible marketing outcomes
  • A good knowledge of the media and how strategy planning influences it
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • The ability to make complex subjects understandable
  • The drive to be successful and perform well in all aspects of your strategic work
  • The flexibility to work over a number of projects and balance your workload
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities

Required Skills

  • Well-versed with Google and Facebook media buying tools.
  • Well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite specifically, Excel and Power Point.
  • Experience with social media management and social media tools like social baker, sprout social etc. 
  • Exposure to marketing automation tools like Salesforce marketing cloud
