Job Description

The Role

SEEK has recently completed the implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Audience Studio in ANZ & parts of Asia, as part of a larger CRM transformation journey across APAC. The overall objective is to enhance our capabilities in managing multi-functional relationships with our customers, and to become more sophisticated and targeted in how we engage with them. 

Reporting to the Marketing Platform Lead, the Salesforce administrator focusses on administration, configuration and enhancements to the Salesforce Platforms using declarative (non-programmatic) toolsets in order to maximise the value of the platform, maintain security and access controls, and to deliver outcomes to the business.  This role has no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Support

  • Day-to-day administration management of Marketing Cloud environments across separate regions (ANZ & Asia) and Audience Studio environment (ANZ) including all data feeds and automations
  • Support & configure business critical processes and systems following SEEK & Salesforce  best practices.
  • Provide support and point of escalation for new and existing Marketing Cloud/Audience Studio user base with questions and issues in each platform
  • Contribute to platform health, ensuring that our systems are secure, reliable, resilient and cost effective.
  • Working with the Engineers, configure, troubleshoot and run triggers and API calls within the Marketing Salesforce platforms, SEEK website tags and SEEK Data environments, including the Marketing Cloud Connector
  • Working closely with other CoE technical and non-techinal team members including developers, consultants and data analysts in creating, deploying marketing solutions since SFMC will be integrated to CRM
  • Support the integration of new features and platform enhancements
  • Support the configuriation of new business units and implementing new modules
  • Working closely with the Data Analysts, make data-driven decisions to optimize customer solutions
  • Working closely with the BA, complete QA checks & oversee UAT on changes to data and complex journeys
  • Keeping abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements

Campaign Support

  • Track and report on key data health metrics and conversion, making recommendations for optimisation
  • Utilise SFDC to derive audience insights to inform contact strategy improvements
  • Assist the marketing teams in developing reports and dashboards to monitor performance
  • Develop audience insights and proactively report on platform performance

 So, what we are looking for?

 Experience:

  • Experience as an administrator on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
  • Experience within a Data Management Platform (DMP) including building segments, setting up tags/pixels
  • Experience working in an Agile software engineering team
  • Experience supporting highly scalable, available, performant and secure solutions
  • Experience with integration projects including exposure to regression testing

 Technical Skills:

  • Troubleshoots, appropriately escalates, and communicates production incidents
  • Working knowledge of APIs and the SFMC Connector
  • Experience in system administration and data migration
  • Experience importing structured data from third party sources
  • Experience building and maintaining email templates, landing pages, push notifications and campaign reports
  • Demonstrated experience with AMPScript and SQL
  • Demonstrated experience with customer segmentation and Audience Studio
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain data extensions
  • Demonstrated ability to build complex journeys using Journey Builder for common use cases

 Certifications:

  • Marketing Cloud Administrator
  • Marketing Cloud Email Specialist

Desirable Experience, Skills and Competencies

Experience:

  •        Previous experience with Marketing Cloud
  •        Previous experience with Krux/Audience Studio or a leading DMP
  •        Previous experience with Sales & Service Cloud, CPQ an advantage
  •        Proficiency using the Atlassian suite - JIRA, Confluence etc.
  •        Previous experience working in geographically dispersed development teams

Personal Skills:

The Team

SEEK have established a CRM Center of Excellence (COE) which contributes to SEEK’s overall CRM transformation journey by leveraging the Salesforce platform (including CPQ+Billing and Marketing) across APAC. This CRM COE comprises product owners and managers, delivery leads, Salesforce functional consultants, architects, administrators and developers. The immediate scope of work is focussed on ANZ but will scale to APAC.
