Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business initiatives and opportunities by expanding and enhancing Octopus digital products and mobile services applications
  • Act as a product/project manager in leading various technical parties and business teams on product development including feasibility study, user interface, service / product design, vendor/solution evaluation, business requirement analysis, technical requirement specifications, testing and budget control with the key objective to meet business goals & targets
  • Devise product plans and explore potential applications to bring additional revenue streams for long term business growth
  • Keep updated on regulatory requirements and work closely with relevant internal and external parties to ensure the products and services are in compliance with the requirements
  • Work closely with Digital Product Management Team to enhance user experience of Mobile Octopus products in Octopus App
  • Prepare business cases and financial analysis for new business initiatives
  • Collect market information and provide update to management on the product trend and development for online and mobile services
  • University or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, e-Commerce or related disciplines
  • 10 – 15 years of experience in product development, digital transformation, or e-Commerce;  preferably gained from banking, electronic payment, or mobile services industry
  • Strong knowledge in payment and digital solution development and rollout mobile app, e-Commerce, CRM, web technologies and various technical development approaches
  • Proven track record in project management, RFP, and tendering, vender management and agreement vetting
  • Good business acumen with excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • A team player with a strategic, analytical, and entrepreneur mind-set
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Candidate with less experience may also apply and will be considered for manager role
