Job Description

Executive Summary:
This role is responsible for leading the Security Technology Business Team in Hong Kong and Macau by developing short and long-term strategic sales plans, driving and realizing total sales and margin objectives across the region. Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent demonstrates an extensive understanding and applicability of all areas in the physical security technology industry, client servicing, and business practices through a digital transformation approach for physical security industry.
Major Responsibilities: 
  • Overseeing the activities of the Security Technology Business Team and helping to grow and develop the organization, based on an understanding of the needs of applying latest technologies towards physical security industry.
  • Managing sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, pre-sales, project delivery, revenue and margin targets.
  • Building and Implementing the Go-To-Market Strategy, through a digital transformation approach for physical security industry.
  • Meet and Exceed Sales Target.
  • Developing internal team and forming strategic partnerships.
  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
  • Assisting in implementing the sales strategy as set by the Managing Director
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
  • Developing sales team through motivation, counselling and product knowledge education.
  • Training and onboarding new hires.
  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
  • Collaborating with marketing to customise overall presentation messaging to suite specific clients and/ or target audience.
  • Promoting of our services to new and existing clients through a pro-active approach.
  • Successfully identify opportunities within the organisations from qualification to close.
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, electronic, engineering or related discipline.
  • Over 10 years’ experience on sales and business development in the technology industry.
  • Enterprise solution sales experience with ICT / IoT / ELV / Security technologies
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations skills to maintain effective relationships with the customers.
  • Experience in consultative approach towards digital transformation initiative of large customers.
  • Experience in managing and directing a sales team.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and ambition.
