Job Description

The Department

The Strategic Procurement Department is focused on delivering effective business solutions through a strategic management approach of our costs, our supplier base and the continuous improvement of our administrative initiatives.

The Job

You will:

  • Liaise with business users to solicit their requests, needs and facilitate procurement activities, such as scheduling, market research, pre-qualification and request for quotation and tendering process
  • Support end-to-end procurement process and other sourcing operations, including but not limited to technical work categories, consultancy services and building operating equipment
  • Ensure procurement operations and related activities are in compliance with the Club’s policy
  • Support market research activities on suppliers management and maintaining up-to-date the cost database
  • Prepare reporting and analysis to facilitate the formulation of procurement strategy and tender evaluation
  • Maintain and update the electronic based filing system

About You

You should have:

  • Degree holder with experiences in Procurement, Supply Chain, or similar, with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience (candidate with less experience will be considered as Procurement Office)
  • Knowledge in handling of request for quotation and tendering process
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to provide comprehensive analysis to facilitate decision making process
  • Good communication in written and spoken English and Chinese with proven ability to work closely with respective stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with good business acumen
  • Hands-on experience in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
