Our company seeks a multi-skilled Manufacturing Engineer with the technical capability to drive mechanical design developments within our products and production lines as we move into the next phase of business growth. The ideal candidate combines a solid understanding of Electronics principles with expertise in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• As part of NPI, understand the Products’ critical characteristics; design and set up Production lines that consistently deliver good parts, and test systems that adequately verify quality.
• Must be hands on in design and setup production jigs and fixtures.
• Contribute to the development of project plans and costings.
• Lead / support the development of new manufacturing processes.
• Lead / support initiatives to improve quality and throughput on existing lines.
• Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of the Production lines.
• Contribute to the transfer of new products into Production by preparing assembly / manufacturing plans with detailed work instructions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of work in manufacturing with exposure to NPI and preferably in industrial, automotive or instrumentation areas
• Exposure to critical non-consumer manufacturing outside of mainland China; eg. US / European / Japanese, would be of interest
• Fluency in English and Cantonese. (Good command of Mandarin will also be very useful) with strong skills in clear and concise written communication
• Hong Kong citizen/resident or other immigration status with no restrictions for work in HK preferred; visa sponsorship may be considered based on merit.
