Reporting to Department Head of the Supply Chain Solutions, the position is responsible for managing the application development and support for all related activities in maintaining
and delivering application solutions to meet the business requirements of Supply Chain Solutions Department. The incumbent will oversee all aspects of the departmental functions including operational matters, resource management,
vendor management, technology management, and formulation of related strategies andpolicies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, allocate & lead the IT developers to ensure the delivery of the software products and services are on time, within budget and with quality.
Provide, evaluate and approve the technical solutions to resolve the customers' problems, both internal and external, on using the developed
software products andservices.
Provide staff management including recruitment,
training and development of the team to maintain a knowledgeable and competent workforce.
Review and approve the effort estimation of
application development and support provided by the team for the cost estimation of the projects,
evaluate, negotiate and monitor the software vendors to complete the development work efficiently and effectively.
the abreast of latest technology to be applied to the technical solutionssoastosatisfythebusinessneedsfromthecustomers.
Degree in Computing Science / Information Technology, or similar credential.
At least 15 years of solid experience in the telecommunication / Information Technology industry
of which at least 8 years at the managerial level. (Candidate with less than 15 years but at least 10 years’ experience will be considered a Vice President position).
Domain knowledge and / or experience in developing
applications / solutions for the supply chain industry is an advantage.
knowledge in related technology including web and mobile technology.
