Based in Hong Kong, to work with the IT Manager for the Asia Pacific IT operations including Hong Kong, PRC and Asean countries. The key responsibilities include:

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the operational health of all computer systems and network servers including security availability, performance, interoperability and reliability
• Maintain network infrastructure, security and ensures compliance with security policies and procedures
• Perform system administration, configuration, deployment and support maintenance on systems, application, networking and integrate automation processes
• Be responsible for ERP and internal systems/applications support
• Evaluate, plan and implement new or upgrade IT solutions and services
• Prepare IT documentations and technical specifications such as user guidelines, policies and procedures for system/application operations and maintenance, etc.
• Prepare periodic systems/networking performance reports
• Provide user training
• Perform user support including PC hardware & software installation, configuration and technical support
• Assist in ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• 4-6 years relevant experience is preferred
• Solid experience in system and network administration, network devices setup, virtual infrastructure, PC/Server hardware and software application support
• Strong knowledge on network architecture, design, integration and protocols including TCP/IP, bridging, firewall and Virtual Private Network (VPN)
• In depth Local Area Network (LAN) design and Wide Area Network (WAN) design, including switches, routers, network, wiring and other network devices
• Network/system administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus
• Experience with scripting and automation tools
• Familiar with the following technologies and platforms is highly desired:
  • Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization Technology or equivalent
  • MS Windows 2012 Server or above, Linux
  • MS Exchange Server, AD, Office 365
  • MS IIS / Microsoft.NET Technologies / MYSQL / PowerShell script
  • Sound knowledge in TCP/IP, DHCP, LDAP, DNS, SENMAIL, POP
  • MS Windows 7/8/8.1/10, Mac
• Good team player, proactive, self-motivated, mature, independent and willing to learn.
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Able to work with people in all levels and under pressure.
• High proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Immediately available would be a definite advantage.
